This is an entry-level, hands-on role ideal for someone looking to build their skills in custom fabrication while learning from seasoned craftsmen and cross-functional teams. • Apply laminates, veneer, and edge banding with attention to quality and finish consistency.
  • Assist in constructing modular and knock-down elements designed for transport and reassembly.
  • Collaborate with CNC, Metal, Paint, and Graphics departments to support integrated fabrication processes.
  • Participate in on-site installations as needed, assisting with setup, assembly, and takedown.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring adherence to all safety procedures and shop standards.
  • Report material shortages, equipment issues, and quality concerns to the Foreman or Production Manager.
  • Contribute to team efficiency by following direction and proactively supporting the production workflow.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 1–2 years of experience in carpentry, millwork, scenic fabrication, or a related field (or completion of a relevant technical program).
  • Basic understanding of woodworking tools, materials, and construction techniques.
  • Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship with a willingness to learn.
  • Ability to read and follow drawings or build instructions.
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs., stand for extended periods, and perform physical labor.
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and reliability in a collaborative team environment.
  • Exposure to exhibit fabrication, scenic construction, or event/tradeshow environments.
  • Familiarity with laminates, MDF, plywood, hardwoods, and composite materials.
  • Knowledge of basic shop safety protocols and tool maintenance.
  • Forklift and/or scissor lift certification is a plus.
