Job Description

Overview Data Center Technician I role at Controlled Contamination Services. This position supports operational excellence and cleanliness standards in controlled environments, ensuring surfaces including ceilings, walls, equipment, and floors meet strict cleanliness guidelines in a data center setting. Essential Duties And Responsibilities Perform cleaning operations under strict guidelines. Continually monitor the cleaning procedures to ensure all cleaning is completed promptly and correctly. Participate in continuous training: Data Center, technical skills, safety, performance improvement. Perform micro-cleaning of all surfaces within the general and critical environment including ceilings, walls, equipment, and floors. Follow customer standard operating procedures in precise detail including documentation. Identify deviations in cleaning and follow through on corrective and preventative actions (variances). Review changes to SOP/SOW documentation and retrain as needed. Assist in cross training of other Controlled Contamination Services personnel. All other duties as defined by supervisor. Qualifications Must become familiar with cleaning chemical components and safety requirements. Ability to learn and understand Scope of Work & Standard Operating Procedures. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Pass a background check and I-9. Education and/or Experience High school diploma or GED; or one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to add, subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's; operate with units of American money, weight, volume, and distance. Physical Requirements Stand, walk, lift/climb, talk/hear, use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands or arms. The weight or force requirement in this position is up to 40 pounds.
