Job Description
				  POSITION SUMMARY    The 
 Crane Operator  (OFFSHORE) is responsible for loading, unloading and moving materials on a work site using a crane in a safe manner. 
 ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES   (This is a representative list of the duties the position may be asked to perform and is not intended to be all-inclusive.) 
 -  Operate the crane to lift, move and position machinery, equipment, products or other large objects 
 -  Use proper hoisting attachments and observe the load to ensure that it is secure 
 -  Compare load weight with the capacity of the crane in order to prevent over loading 
 -  Perform a pre-inspection on any equipment operated 
 -  Assist in the maintenance and routine housekeeping of the work area and equipment being used 
 -  Manipulate crane controls in a safe manner and direct crane to appropriate destination while effectively communicating via written, oral and/or signaled instructions 
 -  Obey and follow all safety rules and policies 
 -  Wear all appropriate safety equipment (PPE) 
 -  Perform all other duties as assigned by manager and/or supervisor 
 
 MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS    -  High School diploma or equivalent education 
 - 2+ years crane operating experience 
 -  Must be certified as a crane operator through a third party certifier 
 -  Basic written and verbal skills 
 -  Ability to preform basic mathematical skills 
 -  Must be reliable and have the ability to accept responsibility for his/her actions 
 -  For new hires, must meet all Performance Energy Services employment qualifications in force at time of hiring, including successful completion of a background investigation and pre-employment drug screen 
 -  For new hires, must successfully complete all required training by Performance Energy Services
